FAQ

Will I really succeed in growing mushrooms with JARRA, even if I’ve never grown plants before?

Absolutely. JARRA is designed for beginners — it’s even easier than keeping houseplants alive. Just add water and let nature do the rest.

Where should I place my JARRA at home?

The vessel thrives in a bright room with good airflow — most people place it in the kitchen, where it naturally becomes part of daily life. Its minimalist ceramic design blends beautifully into any space.

How much time and effort does JARRA require?

Almost none — just the fun part: keep the vessel’s channel filled with water and mist the mushrooms when needed (each variety has simple instructions). No sunlight, fertilizer, or complex care is required. Enjoy the experience of watching your mushrooms grow right before your eyes.

How long does it take to see mushrooms?

Usually 7–14 days to your first flush, depending on the variety and conditions.

How many fresh mushrooms can I expect from oneJARRA vessel?

Typically 200–600 grams per vessel, depending on variety and growing conditions. With every grow you gain experience, and yields often improve over time. Each kit is designed for one main flush, and with the right care you can sometimes encourage a second harvest.

Why grow mushrooms at home instead of buying at thestore?

Home-grown mushrooms are fresher and cleaner — grown on a pure substrate in a ceramic vessel at home, free from heavy metals and pollutants. You control what goes into your food. And truly, there’s nothing like eating food you’ve grown yourself.
